Committee and Leadership

The Increase Association is led and governed by the six members of the international Increase Committee

Young Saeng Cho, Graham Aylett, Anneta Vysotskaya, David Burke, Allan Mao, Ronald Laldinsuah

Anneta Vysotskaya

is General Director of ORTA, which provides Russian language TEE materials to Russian speakers. She was a member of the World Evangelical Alliance Religious Liberty Commission from 2005 to 2018. Before COVID Anneta travelled regularly in Central Asia helping indigenous TEE groups. She is a journalist and writer.

Ronald Laldinsuah

serves as the Dean of the Myanmar Evangelical Graduate School of Theology. Ronald also serves as the Pastor of the Hlaingthaya Community Church, and serves as the leader of TE4ONE (also known as Theological Education for Everyone), which is based in Myanmar's capital city Yangon.

Young Saeng Cho

is from South Korea. Since 2001 Young Saeng Cho has been serving in Myanmar where he helps to care for 40 orphans, serves as the pastor of the Joshua Church in Yangon, and also serves as the Principal and Representative of the TEE Myanmar theological seminary. Young Saeng Cho and his wife have three sons and one daughter.

Graham Aylett

served with the national TEE programme in Mongolia for 14 years. He is Vice-Chair of SEAN International, a provider of TEE courses globally, is a member of the Asia Theological Association Commission on Accreditation and Educational Development, and serves as Increase General Secretary.

Allan Mao

discovered Theological Education by Extension when he was pastoring a Chinese congregation in Sydney. Allan trains and resources churches with TEE Australia and is a Presbyterian pastor in Sydney, discipling people via TEE. He has trained as a pastoral supervisor. Allan and his wife Christine have two teenage boys.

David Burke 

is Committee Chair. He is an adjunct lecturer at Christ College Sydney in Australia, and research fellow in cross-cultural studies. He was a church leader in Singapore for 12 years, is an Increase Equipper, was General Editor of our book 'TEE for the 21st Century', and has done quality assurance work with Re-Forma for Increase.

The administrative and support work of the Increase Association is carried out by different members of the Increase Executive Team

Graham Aylett

General Secretary. Graham has been an Interserve Partner since 1998, served with TEE in Mongolia and continues to advise national TEE movements in Asia. Graham was commissioned as General Secretary during the Increase online conference in March 2021.

Aaron Tham

Operations Manager. Aaron has been involved with Alpha in Malaysia. He was pastor at Petaling Jaya Evangelical Free Church for 20 years. He became involved in TEE Malaysia in 2017 when the team was looking into translating Abundant Light. He had been involved in 'Faith Comes By Hearing' which makes audio Bibles available for oral cultures. He experienced the dynamics of TEE when he studied the Life of Christ series.

Rosana Longgat

Equippers Coordinator. Rosana is a pastor from the Philippines and Director of TEE at her church the Bethany Fellowship. The Equippers are the ‘hands and feet’ of Increase, a group of about twenty people, experienced in different aspects of TEE or church-based training, who give time every year to serve the Association. Rosana has been an Equipper for many years herself.

Lewis Varley

Lewis Varley is from the UK, lives in New Zealand, and served with Christian mission SIM in Bangladesh for 17 years, where he led Theological Education by Extension groups and trained TEE tutors via local partner organisations. He is a committee member of TEE Aotearoa-New Zealand, and lectures at Eastwest College of Intercultural Studies in Hamilton. He is married to Susie and they have four children.

Rita Subedi

Rita Subedi has worked with the Institute for Theological Education by Extension in Nepal since 1995, when she began translating TEE courses. In 2002 she helped train Russians who set up the Open Russian Theological Academy. She helped host our 2010 conference and helped with our 2013 consultation in Turkey on translation and contextualisation. She has trained ITEEN group leaders and helped lead translation and contextualisation training at our 2022 conference.
